New
- Postgres connector. Postgres now appears in the web and desktop connector pickers.
- Connects to databases that require certificates, like Cloud SQL with "Require trusted client certificates." The form takes a server CA certificate, client certificate, and client private key, and
sslmodein the connection string means what it means in libpq. - Certificate errors say what went wrong (expired, untrusted, host name mismatch) instead of passing along raw OpenSSL text.
- Connects to databases that require certificates, like Cloud SQL with "Require trusted client certificates." The form takes a server CA certificate, client certificate, and client private key, and
- Connect with Stripe. Sign in to Stripe with a button instead of pasting a secret key.
Better
- Certificate fields support. Postgres and MySQL certificate and key fields keep their line breaks and can load a .pem, .crt, .cer, or .key file.
- Postgres and Supabase date columns come through as dates, the same on every machine.
- Your join date shows on the User settings page.
Under the hood
- Routines are stored in the database instead of a config git repo, and the
scratchmdCLI no longer manages them. - Database connections are checked before connecting: hosts must be public, and Postgres connection strings only pass through the options that are safe to use.
- Expired pending OAuth installs and CLI sign-in codes are cleaned up every hour.
- Node.js upgraded to 22.23.4 across the monorepo.
