What Scratch edits in Zoho CRM
- Names and titles across your modules — deal names, account names, case subjects
- Description and other multi-line text fields
- Text, email, phone, and website fields
- Custom fields and custom modules
How it works
Scratch pulls a Zoho module's records into local files, one file per record: leads, contacts, accounts, deals, and any custom module your org exposes. Your AI rewrites the prose. Which fields are editable is read live from Zoho's own metadata, so record IDs, owners, and any field Zoho marks read-only stay locked. Formula, rollup, and autonumber fields pass through untouched, audit timestamps are never rewritten, tags round-trip read-only, and the org Users table comes down as read-only reference. Custom fields round-trip by their definition, so a rename does not scramble them. Validators flag length overruns and any "never touch" field you name, right on the diff. You approve every change in Scratch. Zoho gets the edits back through its v8 REST API.
